How Does Follow Yoga Teach Transcendental Meditation?
Founder Catherine Fleishman practices Transcendental Meditation on a regular basis, and has become an advocate of its healing abilities. She offers introductory classes on transcendental meditation, in order to educate students on its main components and help them learn the process. Classes are available through a Transcendental Meditation partnership program at select local studios. These classes are approved as an affiliate program for the introduction to Transcendental Meditation seminar.
What Are The Benefits Of Transcendental Meditation?
According to TM.org, the main benefit of Transcendental Meditation is stress relief.
“The deep rest experienced during the practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique allows the body to naturally dissolve stress and strain. After learning the TM technique, it is common for meditators to feel less stressed and to notice that they deal more calmly with tense situations. When stress is reduced in the nervous system during meditation, benefits like better sleep and clearer thinking also naturally develop. Over 600 research studies have verified that the daily practice of the TM technique produces a wide range of positive effects on a person’s mind, body, and behavior.”
